Google’s at it again….

So here it is, the first Android phone. It’s by HTC, called the HTC G1 and it looks like bollocks. I swear, the  nokia prism could win a noble prize if all phones looked like this. What pisses me off, is that the interface is an iPhone killer. The Android OS, which just like most google inventions or acquisitions, is definitely eons ahead then most. Yeah i said it, Google one up’ed Apple on this. Sergey Brin stuck a nice little pole up Steve Job’s sickly ass with this sick ass interface. With that being said, sadly no one excepts us geeks, will know abt it, till like the next light year or something. A good product without good marketing is sadly just a good product, not a successful one. And if u guys need proof of amazing this interface is, click here . It frustrates me that they’re releasing this interface, in all its glory, in a chinese knock-off looking phone. Its like having the iphone OS in an HiPhone, why google, did you even let this happen !

What they should do is pull back that abomination of phone, and start re doing the g1 too look more like the Touch series. The Touch HD and the Touch Pro are great looking phones, shit, jus use these phones if its so hard to build a new phone around this, but do not, and i do stress this quite hard, release something this amazing in a package this bad at time where the iPhone 3G is making headlines over the world. That’s just stupid, plain stupid really!

Hello world!

Yes, laugh if u have to, tickle ure fancies if u must, the unthinkable has happened once again, i’ve restarted blogging. At the ripe old age of 27, im getting tips from my 18yr old sis on which blog platform is the best, and yes, jus like Neo, wordpress is the chosen one. This whole process makes me feel old like chuck norris and young like souljah boi at the very same time, and getting blog tips from a younger sis, is somewhat a weird feeling, but hey, in the world of googles, facebook, bloggerz and all that web 2.0 shennanigans, writing a blog post could be what my supposedly old soul, needs.

So what’s been up Yasz?

Since this is like my millionth blog on the subject of my life, the best precursor to work from was from my last known blog.

So back then

  1. i was single
  2. was working for a gaming mag
  3. was semi broke, somewhat
  4. crazy abt music n movies
  5. was trying to lose weight

So right now

  1. Im very much attached
  2. im reliving an age old dream, im developing a website, not entirely mine, still a big step nonetheless.
  3. finances are finally in order, phew!
  4. same as above
  5. same as above. more pressure now though

Thats in a nutshell,  i’ll let everythin else unfold naturally…

Other than Audrey’s fine ass, the collapse Wall St has definitely been on my mind a whole lot lately. I just wished i had sizable liquid assets at this point of time, cos looking at how stock prices are going down like MJ’s career, this is such a great time to buy. Its not just the finance industry thats reeling, but the tech industry is also feeling aftershocks, a great article here, shows how even Apple stock is tumbling. It’s a risk, knowing that things could go even lower, but hey, no economy in recent history has not recovered, so go in buy some, and hold till the sun comes out again.

Loads of talk of a recurrence of a Great Depression and such sentiments has somehow fallen on the music industry. A couple of great tear-jerker music has been popping up, so beware, this could get a little watery.. hah!

Musiq’s back, and this is a great duet. Sublime writing and beautiful vocals. A great throwback to the golden years of 90’s rnb.I have a niggly feeling that this could be written by Babyface.

Fade Into Background – Ne Yo

This is a definite throwback to Prince, the drums and the melodies are just on point. A melancholy song that i believe everyone can relate to. A wedding song, from a unique angle nonetheless.

Leave It All Behind Sample – The Foreign Exchange

A great introduction to the new album, its amazing how the 2 collaborators of this album are not even on the same timezone when this album was being made. The Foreign Exchange is the new age Sade.

I’ll take my leave now, sprinkle more stuff on when i can..

P.S watch Step Brothers and the Fergie and Jesus reference will make sense…
